The Sacramento Sheriff's department took a murder suspect wanted in Louisiana into custody early this morning. Marcus Heard, 40, wanted for murder in Baton Rouge, La., peacefully surrendered this morning when he walked out of an apartment in the 5900 block of Devecchi Avenue near Greenback Lane and Interstate 80.
